The Malonic WarThe Malonic War is the novelization of The Malonic Sequence. Fleshing out the story of Mathezr Bresak and his civilization, The Malonic War expands on the worldbuilding, events, and backgrounds of the characters and factions. For centuries, the Malonics wondered if there was life outside of their solar system. They began to broadcast radio signals out into the universe, hoping to get a reply. Yet, as they expanded to nearby planets to bring resources bacck to a world devastated by nuclear warfare, they began to believe they were the only ones in the universe. That was, until a species known as Humanity replied. Humanity appeared to mantain a utopia in the space they controlled. As a result, their offerings to induct the Malonics into their empire appeared attractive in the aftermath of world war on Malonius. But, it was a farse. Humanity was only intent on invading the planet to extend their influence. For four generations, the Malonics suffered under Humanity's burdens. However, hardship forges deliverers. Out of the oppression rose Mathezr Bresak, a young Malonic man who exchanged a future in logistical management to maintain Humanity's grip for a position in a rebel faction known as the Malonic Liberation Army. A strategic soldier, he quickly rose through the ranks, becomming a hero to his comrades and an archenemy to the puppet government of Malonius. Yet, victory is not swift. Battles are won and lost. Strategies change. Will Mathezr succeed in expelling the invaders, or will he fail and leave the Malonics to continue suffering? |
